Our faces change. It is important to re-evaluate and focus on the basics.
1. FOUNDATION Stick with a lightweight foundation. Buy two, always the same brand, one just a bit lighter then your current skin tone. Use the lighter foundation to cover age spots, use as an under eye concealer or cover uneven skin discoloration, then apply matching foundation as the final layer. Keeping things light makes all the difference in the world.
2. BLUSH Only apply blush from the top of your ear to the center of your eye, stay away from the apples of your cheeks. Again stick with a light touch.
3. EYES Mascara only is fine. Create a strong impact by applying two coats of brown and a third coat of black. Evaluate the brand you are currently using. Does it still work for you? If not, experiment with new brands. Our lashes change dramatically over time.
4. LIPSTICK Color is important so choose wisely. Use a lip primer to avoid color runs in the creases of your lips; and always work with a longlasting lipstick or lip dye.
